Follow these suggestions for a safe, healthy and transformative practice, and to make the most of your experience with us at Hot Yoga Jupiter.

Come early and try to stay for the whole class!

Try to get here a couple minutes early. This will give you a chance to get into the room, set up and center yourself for your class. And try to stay for the whole class! Yes, you'll get in lots of cardio in the first part of class, but floor postures and savasana are where your practice really sets in and opening occurs. The last twenty minutes are just as important as the first, so make a commitment to stay in the room! Also, if you are making a purchase at the studio, arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start to do so, or plan accordingly and buy online when possible to save your time at the studio for the stuff that matters!

Introduce yourself to your teacher before class.
If you are new to yoga, or if you've been coming for years, it's important to let your instructor know who you are, and about anything that's going on with your body. Our teachers are great resource, so don't be afraid to ask questions--they're here to help! Please put your name nice and large on your mat, too so when we can learn your name and recognize you upside down when we want to speak to your in class!

Yoga is a practice.
We all come to yoga with a different set of expectations...we promise, yoga will never cease to challenge you! There will be days when every posture comes with ease, and days when you feel frustration. Our yoga classes will meet you where you are, so let go, listen to your body, and most importantly, do what feels right for you.

Ask for help and listen to feedback.
If you are in a posture and it doesn't feel right, ask your instructor for help or for an adjustment. Our goal at HOT YOGA Jupiter is to make sure that all our clients have the best experience possible.

If you are receiving hands-on adjustments, let the teacher know how it feels, or how it might work better for you. Hands-on adjustments from an instructor can greatly deepen your practice. If you prefer not to be adjusted, let the teacher know before class begins. If you want to schedule a private lesson (60-90 minutes, or a yoga tune up (20 minutes), call the studio and schedule a one on one with our Director, Cassie at 561 339 7090.

Keep an open mind.
Yoga is universal, but there are many styles of yoga, so try our different classes and instructors to see what works best for you. HOT YOGA Jupiter offers 25+ classes a week with a variety of teachers so that we can give you the best experience possible. All of our teachers are unique, so your experience will be unique also. Also, it's important to remember as your practice evolves, so will your needs, so what works today may not work tomorrow--stay tuned to your body!

Give yourself permission to take breaks.
At HOT YOGA Jupiter, we believe the most important part of any class is you! We strive to provide you with a class that is both challenging and rewarding for your mind and body. No matter what, we want you to have a great yoga experience. If you need to take child's pose or a sip of water, feel free. As any teacher will tell you, a healthy yogi/yogini is a happy one!

Don't look for perfect postures, look for healthy ones.
Your body is unlike any other; your postures may not look like anyone else's in class, and we are all at different levels. We have straps available for purchase in the studio to help you, and they are a great tool for expanding your practice. Most importantly, a yoga class is a community, so we all honor each other where we are. At HOT YOGA Jupiter we want to provide you with a competition-free environment where you feel safe and supported. Your teachers and fellow students are there to support you!
